VMware is continually adding more free training to its website. This is a good business model. The more you learn about a product the more you will want to use it. They are getting a lot of competition from Microsoft and they are catching up fast. Off course part of the training is a sales pitch for all of the great features VMware has to offer. There is another page on their site that has short training videos on most of the products offered by VMware.

Viadmin’s website has a lot of VMware training videos an covers a lot of material. The downside is that it has not been kept current. The training covers VMware 3 and 4.1. I still put it on this website because a lot of companies have not upgraded to VMware 5. Also, a lot of the material has not changed that much. They pay for the website by offering paid labs. Check out the labs. It is quite a package. UPDATE!! Search Viadmin in Youtube and you will find additional video training, including training on VMware 5.

These five videos are a teaser to get you to take the paid course offered by Pruralsight. I suggest watching these videos anyway because you will get a good introduction to VMware and a lot of information.

Pluralsight Youtube WMware Training

This is a Youtube channel ran by Prluralsight (formally Train Signal) that has lots of sample videos from their actual paid courses. The videos cover lots of products and features of VMware. You might want to start with one of the other courses on this page and then check out these videos to get more detailed information.
